
Toni Braxton and Babyface have a struck a chord with listeners yet
again, leading to a strong debut on the Adult R&B Songs chart.
Following the breakthrough single "Hurt You," Braxton and Babyface's
latest effort, "Where Did We Go Wrong?" debuts at no.20 on the coveted
chart this week.
"Where Did We Go Wrong?" is taken from the duo's forthcoming album,
"Love, Marriage and Divorce," which is due for release next month
(February).
Joining Toni Braxton and Babyface is Ledisi, whose new single, "I Blame
You," is soaring on the R&B charts.
Deemed this week's greatest gainer, "I Blame You" is up to no.11 on the
Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart. The song is taken from Ledisi's
forthcoming album, "The Truth," which is also due for release in
February.
"I Blame You" is also moving on the Urban AC (Adult Contemporary) chart.
Listed on the Adult R&B Indicator for most increased plays, the
song is up 15-14 on the Urban AC chart.
In related news, 2014 Grammy nominee Robin Thicke retains the top spot
on the chart with "For The Rest of My Life." Riding high at no.1, the
single has been at the summit for a total of four weeks.
