Motown signee B. Smyth says driving while black was the true reason for a
recent traffic stop and arrest in his home state of Florida.
The “Win Win” singer was nabbed for trespassing in Coral Springs on
Sunday (Dec. 22) after allegedly being pulled over at a gas station for
tailgating.
According to police report documents obtained by TMZ, Smyth became
confrontational with officers on the scene, claiming they pulled him
over because he is African-American. In addition, he allegedly said he
was “going to sleep with one of the officers wives.”
Smyth was just going to receive a citation, but he was taken into
custody for being rowdy and refusing to leave the scene.
