R. Kelly's "My Story" led album, "Black Panties," is moving towards the
200,000 copies sold mark in the U.S.
Featuring collaborations with 2 Chainz, Kelly Rowland and Ludacris, the
album moved 60,000 copies over the last week, dropping 2-4 on the
Billboard Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart. The album also dropped 4-15
on the Billboard 200.
Combined with his first week sales total of 133,000 copies, "Black
Panties" has collectively sold 193,000 copies in two weeks.
As previously reported, "Black Panties" is Kelly's fifteenth top 10
charting album and his best debut on the Billboard 200 since "Untitled"
(2009).
Kelly is preparing to embark on two tours within the next year.
