Beyonce's self-titled album is going to be one for the record books. At
least when it comes to her discography and chart achievements.
According to Billboard, the "Heaven" and "Blue" singer's new album is
not only slated to return to no.1 on next week's Billboard 200 albums
chart, but it will give the Grammy Award winner her longest run atop the
chart (spending three weeks at the summit).
"If "Beyoncé" is No. 1 for a third week, it will mark the diva's
longest-reigning chart-topper. While all five of her studio albums have
reached No. 1, her longest rule atop the list is two weeks (for both
"Beyoncé" and "4")," reports Billboard.
Expected to move 250,000 copies, "Beyonce" will also surpass the million
mark, giving the album a U.S. total of 1.24 million plus.
In related news, Beyonce's single "Drunk In Love" debuted at no.1 on the
R&B Songs chart this week. Two additional songs followed the 61,000
copy selling single.
"XO" debuted at no.8. "Mine," featuring Drake," debuted at no.13. "XO"
also debuted on the R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart at no.19. "Mine" debuted
at no.99 on the Billboard Hot 100 while "XO" arrived at no.66.
